“I’m a perfectionist…I was just always really hard on myself”

Naya sat in bed, staring at the laptop. She’s been working from home after the birth of Hope and she loves it. She gets to be with her daughter 24/7. Hope is already showing signs of being a wolf at a young again and it makes Naya happy and proud. Her eyes glance over at the clock and she lets out a sigh. It’s close to midnight and Jackson is still not home. What job had employees stay till midnight? She finishes typing up the presentation and sends it to her boss, before getting up from the bed. She’s practically done. She get’s that Jackson needs to work, but this is ridiculous  He has missed so much from being at work so much. Hope first word was Mama and that was 2 weeks ago, yet Jackson didn’t know, because the minute he comes home he wants to sleep. She picks up her phone and laptop. They had put a small twin bed in nursery for when Hope had trouble sleeping, Naya was sleeping there tonight. She wrote a quick note and place it on his pillow. ‘Hope you have an amazing time at work. Tell them to keep you over night while you are at it. I’m sleeping in Hope’s room, you can have this room. Naya.’ She didn’t bother with love or anything else but that. She walked into Hope’s room and laid down on the bed, shopping for clothes for Hope.
